The Secret of Change.

Sisterhood of Women if you want change in your life, STOP focusing on the old. I had to tell myself this; let your past be your past if you want to bring about change. Once I took my own advice empowering women it allowed me to break away from a more static to a more organic or intuitive structure. With this seed of innovation, it brought freedom, success,and attainability of new paths for me to venture.

The Glow of the Holy Spirit

I recently was asked by an old friend what am I using on my skin to make it glow? 
Empowered women allow the fire of the Holy Spirit to rise and glow from within. 
I call upon the Holy Spirit to guide me to accomplish my dreams, goals, and also to use me as a messenger.

I recently received a call from a sister, informing she was placed in a role of leadership on her 2nd day on the job. I reiterated the humble spirit she carries and how humility can open avenues that you never dreamed of. Sisterhood of women as we reach to new heights in our lives, let's not forget the importance of staying humble.

Stop Giving Life to Parasitic Leeches

I was guilty of giving my life away to other people, I noticed I was doing this in my relationship. Sisterhood of Women on my journey towards empowerment, I had a euphoric moment one afternoon driving home. It hit me like a ton of bricks, I was beyond exhausted physically, and mentally. I enjoyed my job so what could it be? I took stock of   what was going on in my life at the time (OMG), I realized I was dating a parasitic leech and it was time for him to go (that day)! Sisterhood of Women sometimes we get so bogged down with our day to day routines trying to satisfy everyone within our reach.  Take stock of what's around you, is it giving life that leads you toward empowerment? If not maybe you discovered your parasitic leech.

  Sisterhood of women the term “Queen” should not to be used only as a noun, but also as an adjective. My sisterhood we need to have a clear understanding, throwing the word around does not equate respected as a “Queen”. Sisterhood of women and girls we must enter a regal state of mind. 

 Queens are: rulers, decision makers, calculated, poised, graceful, leaders, examples, the standard, intelligent, and persuasive. 

Sisterhood it is not enough to state we are Queens, it’s a lifestyle.

Is it time to evaluate?

I recently asked myself this question, is it time to evaluate the people in my life? I had to be  honest with myself and (drum roll) the answer was YES. Keep in mind this is not always  a bad thing, for me it was very empowering, the positives and negatives. I  started with what needed  promoting, this was more of an eye opener. I've been letting church fall by the waste side, I could fellowship more.I noticed  I would go 2-3 months without speaking to my best friend only texting. That changed immediately. Secondly I  needed to demote the emotional drama in my life caused by other people, it's so exhausting.  Lastly, terminate the need for being a shoulder for everyone who has crossed my life's path.- Heart Head Way

Are you allowing negativity ?

This blog comes after having a heartfelt conversations with my sisterhood. My sisters, are you allowing negatively to speak and take root in your spirit? So what you had a child at a young age or out of wedlock. Maybe you did not complete high school or have not received a college degree (yet). A sister approached me in tears after discussing her future aspirations with her family. Stop allowing others to speak negatively into your spirit, it will take root and grow like a weed, causing stagnation, despair, and regret. As empowered women we need positive daily affirmation to be spoken from the heart, noticed I said spoken. Speak to your spirit of your beauty
( inside and out), your dreams, your goals, your future. This purpose of daily affirmations allows positivity to become rooted and grounded in your spirit.

Empowerment Means Moving

Empowerment means moving from enforced powerlessness to a position of power. Education is an essential means of empowering women with the knowledge, skills and self-confidence necessary to fully participate in the development process. Education is a vital part of strategies to improve our well-being and societies' economic and social development.

Why start another women empowerment blog?

 I'm approached daily with the same question, why are you starting a blog about women empowering women? Don’t we have enough information on blog sites, websites, twitter and Facebook?  In my honest opinion the answer to that question is an adamant NO!  The more we know, the further this empowerment will go. I’m passionate about women helping to empower other women.  Women to women empowerment is not based on the color of skin, age, or socioeconomic status.

What is the purpose of Heart Head-Ways?

The purpose of Heart Head-Ways is to aspire to women to use their hearts to make head-ways for other women. The definition of head-way is to precede forward; advance; progress.

What is Personal Empowerment ?

At a basic level, the term 'empowerment' simply means 'becoming powerful'.  Building personal empowerment involves reflecting on our personal values, skills and goals and being prepared to adjust our behaviour in order to achieve our goals. Personal empowerment also means being aware that other people have their own set of values and goals which may different to ours.
